Ho to post my Flash homework to my website? | |
| 1. Save your work in that directory where you are going to
have your html file or special folder for Flash files. 2. You get two files swf and fla. Only swf is important to Web page. You can leave Fla file if you are going to improve it later. You do not need to upload fla file to the Web. 3. In your Flash programme go: File/Publish Preview (Default or HTML), go to the HTML sources and copy <Object> to </Object>. If your swf file is saved in separate folder, correct a path. 4. Paste it in your HTML file. Another way: By saving your fla file you get also HTML file in your directory automatically. Aditionally can read: http://www.webwasp.co.uk/tutorials/a19-publish/publish.htm |

| 2. | Some people use to publish their swf file
with simple codes like this:
<embed src="flash/simpletween.swf"
width="200" height="130"></embed>
|
|
| This isn't correct. Use full codes in that way what you get
by publishing your swf file. |

| 3. | There are requirements in AFFPG to post all assignments of week on one page. I can't it. | |
|
You can it! Open with Notepad
this text file with HTML page for week 1 formatted in tables and change
given swf codes with your swf codes |

| 4. | I published my files but I can't see them | |
|
You files title or folder have spaces. Naming Names for files and folders must conform to standard Internet conventions:

| 6. | I have downloaded fla and swf files from the tutorial Strobe writing, assignment 63. When I open swf file, it's OK. But if I open fla file and want to test it, I do not see correct effects, only the 6 images, which changes one after another. What it happens? | |
It seems that you don't have a font Rockwell Extra Bold,
which was used by author in flash. When you open fla file, the program
suggest you to choose substitute font. There are 2 ways to resolve this
problem:
|
||
| 7. | When I want open downloaded fla file, the program gives me a message "Unexpected file format". | |
| This means that flash is made with higher Flash program
version, like you have. |
||
| 8. | What is fps? | |
|
The measure of the number of frames displayed sequentially per second of animation in order to create the illusion of motion. The higher the frame rate, the smoother the motion, because there are more frames per second to display the transition from point A to point B. If we leave 12 fps (frames per second), this is the default frame rate for web production; for television and other media production, it can go as high as 30 frames per second. 12 is all that you really need for Flash animation for the web; it still allows a consistent flow of motion, but avoids raising your file sizes by adding extra frames. that means that twelve of the blocks in the timeline will make up one second of animation. If I want to extend my animation for one second. Right now we should be on frame 12, where our last animation ended; let's make this one a bit longer. The last one was one second at 12 frames; let's make this one three seconds, which means that we'll need three times as many frames: 36.
